Adult Bible Study
There are six Adult classes: Finders, Searchers, Foundations, Horizons, BC

and Young & The Restless. All are enthusiastic about welcoming visitors and

sharing their exploration of topics impacting contemporary life.

  Children and Youth Bible Study
We have classes for all ages from Pre-K through High School. Sunday morning is

primary, as the youth meet in the basement, and the children in the education building.

Friends Wednesday is also a great opportunity to learn from God's Holy Word.

 Boy Scouts
Scouting is an important component to out outreach ministry. Scouting is a significant mission of the church, leading and building the character of young people for the future roles God has planned for them. Camping is always a highlight, of course, but there are many other important skills learned each week.

 Friends Wednesdays
Friends Wednesdays is our midweek ministry for elementary age youth (K - 5th Grade) that uses the Faithweaver Friends curriculum.

We meet on Wednesday Nights in Westminster Hall from 5:15 - 7:15p.m.  Come join us for an awesome time, building our faith and making friends

while we learn about Gods word through weekly Bible points, contemporary christian music, games & projects and share a great meal.

 Presbyterian Women
The Presbyterian Women are any and all women of the church. With monthly Bible studies the second Tuesday of the month and

all the circles meeting together for a luncheon the third Tuesday of the month, this is a lively ministry to women.

 Men’s Prayer Breakfast
The Men’s’ Prayer Breakfast is an ecumenical group of men from the greater Palatka area who meet every Tuesday morning at 7am in

Westminster Hall for food, fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.

 Senior Adult Ministry (SAM)
The Senior Adult Ministry or SAM is open to anyone of Senior Adult Age. SAM has a number of activities which they participate in including

the monthly luncheon, the fourth Wednesday Sept-April, and their annual trip each October to Montreat and the Sr. Adult Seminar.

The chancel choir meets every Wednesday evening at 7:00pm and is open to anyone - no matter their musical talents. All are welcom to

join Tommy Clay, our music director, as he leads our church’s choirs. Nursery is provided durnig practice.

About First Presbyterian Church

Our Philosophy

Faith is more than what happens on Sunday mornings. It's a part of who we are, inside and out. At First Presbyterian Church, we believe in sharing the joy of the gospel daily, and living a life that embodies the spirit of Christ.

Who We Are

Our church was established in 1856, and yet, is as contemporary as today's issues. Our driving force is the Holy Spirit of God calling us to be a faith community where we love the Lord, and each other. It's just that simple.
