Ministries
Adult Sunday School Classes
There are five Adult classes: Finders, Searchers, Foundations, Catacombs, and BC.
Children and Youth Sunday School
We have Sunday school classes for all ages from Pre-K through High School
Young Adult
We have a Young Adult Group “The Sojourners” who meet for food, fellowship, and Bible study the second Monday of every month at 7pm at the Golden Corral Restaurant.
Youth Groups
5:17: This is our weekly High School youth Bible study which meets from 5:17 till 6:30pm before eating our meals with the Logos children. 5:17 comes from II Corinthians 5:17 which states, “So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see everything has become new!”
Mid High Youth
The Middle school youth of the church meet each week at Logos but we also meet twice a month to do one service/mission project and one fellowship opportunity together.
Boy Scouts
Logos
Logos is our Midweek ministry program who meets most Wednesdays during the school year from October through the beginning of May. Logos meets from 4:15pm till about 7:30pm each week and is comprised of Four Major Parts: Worship skills, Recreation, Bible Study, and Fellowship.
Presbyterian Women
The Presbyterian Women are all and any women of the church. They have their monthly Bible studies the second Tuesday of the month and all the circles meet together for a luncheon the third Tuesday of the month.
Men’s Bible Study
The Men’s’ Bible Study meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 6:30pm. This group is open to any male from birth through older adult. We are currently studying the Gospel of Matthew and meet in the Garden Room in Westminster Hall.
Men’s Prayer Breakfast
The Men’s’ Prayer Breakfast is an ecumenical group of men from the greater Palatka area who meet every Tuesday morning at 7am in Westminster Hall for food, fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.

Monday Noon Bible Study
The Monday Noon Bible Study meets every Monday in the Library and discusses a variety of different issues, books, and scriptures.
Beth Moore Women’s Bible Study
The Beth Moore Women’s Bible study meets every Thursday evening at 6:30pm in Westminster Hall. This Bible study looks at a number of biblical characters and issues that arise from the stories in the Bible.
High School Girls Bible Study
The High School Girls’ Bible Study is open to any high school age girl in the church. This group will meet from 4:20 to 5:17pm each Wednesday afternoon throughout the school year.
Senior Adult Ministry (SAM)
The Senior Adult Ministry or SAM is open to anyone of Senior Adult Age. SAM has a number of activities which they participate in including the monthly luncheon, the fourth Wednesday of every month, and their annual trip each October to Montreat and the Sr. Adult Seminar.
Choir
The chancel choir meets every Wednesday evening at 7pm and is open to anyone- no matter your musical talents. All are welcomed to join Ken Chappell, our music director, as he leads our church’s choirs.
Bell Choir
The bell choir meets every Tuesday at 4:30pm in the choir room. The bell choir is open to all people no matter your musical talents.
Bridge Club
The Bridge Club meets every Thursday afternoon from 1:30pm till 3pm in the downstairs rooms underneath the sanctuary.
Elders and Session
There are twelve elders who serve three year terms who make up the session or the governing body of the church. The elders serve on a number of different ministry committees such as Christian Education, Worship and Music, Buildings and Grounds, Fellowship, Stewardship, Youth, Evangelism/Outreach, etc.
Deacons
The deacons serve as the pastoral care arm of the church and seek to minister to the different needs of the members of the church. There are nine deacons who minister to the members from prayer, hospital/home visits, and general check ups.
