Charlotte Senior High Mission 2006

8 youth and 3 leaders went to Charlotte, North Carolina in July to work at the CROSS ministry.  CROSS stands for Charlotte Regional Outreach, Service and Study and this ministry is based out of Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte.

We worked in a variety of different ministry sites through the greater Charlotte area.  We worked in soup kitchens, clothes closets, an Alzheimer's Center, and a nursery for low income families.  We also had fun singing Karaoke at the church and going to to Carowinds Theme Park in Charlotte.  We look forward to going back to Charlotte this upcoming summer in preparation for our international mission trip in 2008.
